What is Learning Hub?
Learning Hub transforms how you study by automating the review process. Instead of manually tracking what to review and when, the system does it for you based on proven spaced repetition science.
The best part? You don't need to change how you take notes. Keep using your favorite note-taking app, physical notebooks, or any method you prefer. Learning Hub is your organization and review layer on top.
The SRS-2.0 System
Here's how it works:
- Create a note entry - Link to notes from other apps (Obsidian, Google Docs, OneNote, etc.), attach documents, or take notes directly in Notion if you prefer
- Define your active recall task - Write a single analytical task that requires critical thinking (see "What Makes a Good Task?" below)
- Generate active recalls - Each note automatically creates a review task in the Active Recalls database
- Smart scheduling - The system schedules your first review based on the SRS-2.0 algorithm
- Complete your task - Solve the problem, write the explanation, or complete the analysis on the scheduled date
- Adaptive rescheduling - Based on how well you performed, the system automatically schedules your next review
Why this matters: Most students forget 70% of what they learn within 24 hours. Spaced repetition solves this by reviewing material at scientifically optimal intervals. Learning Hub automates this entire process so you never miss a review.
What Makes a Good Active Recall Task?
The key difference: This isn't about memorization or simple flashcard review. Each task is a single, integrated challenge that requires you to actively engage with the material through analysis, problem-solving, or synthesis.
Task Examples by Subject:
